Debit Cards

When using a Debit Card, please be aware that your bank will pre-authorize your card for the total dollar value of your order.

A pre-authorization placed on a debit card by your bank will reflect as an actual charge on your account and may take your bank up to 14 business days to release the funds back to your account. To avoid this type of situation, it’s recommended you use a credit card.

Nametags

What is the difference between a full color and engraved nametag?
A full color uses computer graphics to print an image onto a nametag.  An engraved uses cutting blades to etch/cut a design into the hard plastic.

What format should my logo be in?
Logo must be in .jpg, .ai, .eps, or .pdf format.  Image should be at least 300 dpi. to achieve quality results.  We are PC based.

Do I have to pay a set up fee if I don’t have a logo?
There is no set up fee if we are using text only.

Do I have to pay a set up fee every time I place an order?
If we have printed this logo previously there is not a set up charge.

Can you match my colors in my logo?
We can PMS color match on our Full Color Nametags.

Can you print on both side of the nametag?
Yes we can print on both sides of a Full Color Nametag.

Will you send me a sample of my nametag?
We send an electronic proof of your nametag before productions.

Can I get just one nametag?
There is a 2 piece minimum for your initial order.  1 piece allowed for reorders.

How close to the edge can you print?
We can print a full bleed on plastic.  (not availale on metal)

What file format should I send for artwork?
Vector artwork is preferred.

What is Vector Art?
Vector artwork is an image created of points and paths, this results in artwork that is editable, scalable and able to to seperated for spot color reproduction.  Common Vector file formats inclued .ai, .fh(x), .cdr, .indd amd .qxd.  

Where can I find my logo in a vector format?
To find your logo in a vector art format, contact your art, media, marketing or communications department.  It may also be stored on the standards or site map pages of your website.

Will I get a proof before any custom work is done?
After your order is received an electronic proof will be emailed to you for review.  Production does not begin until you are satisfied wih the artwork and have emailed your approval.  

How soon will I receive my imprinted product?
Lead times may vary by product.  See the lead times on the specification page for the item you are interested in purchasing.

Photo ID

Can I put my logo or background image on the badge?
Yes, we can customoize your badge with any logo or background you wish.  Just email your artwork to Becky.A@namebadgeproductions.com

How long before I see a proof?
An electronic proof is generally sent within 24 hours.  After your proof is approved we will ship within 3-5 business days. 

Do the cards come with a slot punch for lanyards or clips?
Yes, that is an available option included in the price of each Photo ID.  All Photo IDs include a choice of the following: regular or breakaway lanyard, gripper, magnet, badge reel or vinyl strap clip.

What size are the ID cards?
Our Photo IDs are a standard credit card size, 3 3/8" x 2 1/8".  They can be printed in a vertical or horizontal layout.

Can you print on both sides of the Photo ID?
Yes.
